The Different Types of Vegetarianism

Ovo-vegetarians eat eggs but refrain from ingesting any dairy products.  This type of vegetarian is usually someone who is lactose intolerant so therefore, they are unable to properly digest dairy products, to begin with.  Dairy is a huge health concern that should be eliminated as you continue your journey towards a healthier lifestyle.  The human body is not designed to digest milk after childhood and animal milk is far from what our bodies are supposed to ingest.

 

Vegan

 

Image result for vegetarian signVeganism is one of the purest forms of vegetarianism.  Vegans do not eat any animal products and many do not even wear or purchase any items that are derived from the suffering of animals.  Converting to veganism is easy and if you continue to research the health benefits of this diet, it is hard to deny the logic behind such a diet.  Animal products are harmful to you and the environment.  Cutting these items out of your diet can increase your lifespan and reduce your chances of certain cancers.

 

Raw Vegan

 

When it comes to the world of vegetarianism, no one is more deserving of the crown than the raw vegan.  A raw vegan not only refrains from all animal products including eggs and cheeses, they also only consume raw vegetables, nuts, and fruits.  This is an exciting diet that will have you constantly experimenting with new eating concepts.  Raw vegans experience less weight gain, healthier digestive systems, and a clearer train of thought.  If you are ready to take your health to optimal conditions, try a raw vegan lifestyle out.
